Adalia H. Jun-O'Connell, MD, MBA, FAHA, FAAN

Medical Director of Quality
Stroke Director
Specialty - Vascular Neurology

As a board certified vascular neurologist, my mission is to bring the best, evidence based stroke management to our community. I have previously dedicated my career as an academic vascular neurologist dealing with the most complex strokes in a comprehensive stroke center over the past several years. One of the major challenges I learned from my resilient patients is the challenge of finding a stroke neurologist in their community, leading to far trips to a tertiary center. I recognize the major patient access issue. And stroke is a debilitating disease in which patient education and prevention is critical. As a stroke director at MRMC, I hope to provide excellent stroke care to our patients with our phenomenal team.

Stroke Program Manager
Neurology Nurse Practitioner

Treating stroke patients is very personal for me. My grandfather suffered from an ischemic stroke with aphasia at age 80, though was able to recover and live a long and happy life—able to still play tennis, chess, piano, dominoes, until his last days. He passed at age 100.  Prior to joining UMass Memorial Health - Milford Regional. I was a Neurosciences Intensive Care Unit Nurse Practitioner at Massachusetts General Hospital and started my career as a direct care/registered nurse in a variety of settings, all of which have prepared me for my role here serving patients in the Greater Milford Area.
