Neurology is the diagnosis and management of conditions affecting the nervous system -- primarily the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nervous system.

Our neurology department combines a team-based treatment approach with state-of-the-art neurophysiological and neuroimaging technology to deliver the best in neurological care.

Neurodiagnostics
Milford Regional also has an accredited Neurodiagnostics Program which offers a variety of outpatient and inpatient services including, electroencephalograph (EEG), electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies (NCS).

Stroke management requires a dedicated and comprehensive team that focuses on acute intervention, prevention measures, recovery, and education.
Milford Regional Medical Center was designated a Primary Stroke Service in 2005 by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and the American Heart Association. The mission of our Primary Stroke Service Center is to provide swift, up-to-date stroke care, with the relentless pursuit of quality and patient safety.
