Personally Speaking

During medical school I had the good fortune to experience the world of ear, nose and throat medicine during my third year. I finished the first day of my ENT rotation knowing that I belonged there, and my following time confirmed and strengthened that feeling. I especially enjoyed performing the broad range of treatments for the many ailments of ears, noses and throats. I also enjoy having the opportunity to treat patients of every age.

I strive to build a long-lasting and trusting relationship with my patients. I want them to feel comfortable coming to see me with their ENT concerns and do what I can to ensure they feel that way.  I believe in the importance of actively listening to what my patients say. They know their body and their symptoms and how they affect them. This helps guide the appropriate treatment which may not always be the same for every patient, even with similar problems.

Seeing patients get better from whatever brought them in is the most rewarding part of my job -  from helping them hear their friends and family better by diagnosing their hearing loss and prescribing hearing aids to helping patients smell and breathe better through their nasal passages after treating sinus and nasal problems. I feel happy when I help my patients improve their quality of life.
