Robotic and minimally invasive surgery
Kathleen loved bicycling but had to give it up because of her heavy, painful menstrual cycle. After her robotic hysterectomy, she was able to resume bike riding and credits Dr. Myers and the hospital staff for giving her a much better quality of life.

Obstetrics and Gynecology allows me to be part of the happiest moments in my patients lives. I also am able to enjoy long term relationships with patients in the office setting and provide them surgical treatment when this is most appropriate.
I feel patient involvement in therapeutic decision making is important. I try to be certain patients have a good understanding of any issue they are having and to review all appropriate treatment options. This allows us to decide together which therapeutic option best suits their needs.
I enjoy getting to know my patients and hope they feel they can reach out to me with any concerns they might have. It is a privilege to care for patients and I greatly value their trust.
I enjoy spending time with my husband and 4 children. I enjoy hiking, long walks and YOGA. I also love to end my day getting lost in a good book.
