Personally Speaking

The general surgery specialty allows me to care for a wide range of patients' problems. I love having the opportunity to develop strong relationships with my patients, educate and discuss their surgical care, and make a tangible and significant difference through surgery. I try to treat every patient as if they are my own family member - recognizing how their healthcare affects their lives and how they live it. I try to create an atmosphere of total understanding and foster a team approach (patient and doctor) to surgical care and recovery.

I believe my strengths as a physician are compassion, listening, communicating, educating and my minimally invasive surgical skills.

I like to spend time with my family and friends. I lead a volunteer surgical mission trip to Haiti.
