Shields Joint Venture Implementation Set for Dec. 1

UMass Memorial Health – Milford Regional and the widely-recognized imaging vendor Shields Health have entered a joint venture to deliver MRI and PET/CT imaging at Milford Regional. The venture's design ensures that patients and caregivers have access to the highest quality imaging services delivered in the most cost effective and efficient manner.

The joint venture’s implementation is Dec. 1, but appointment reminders have begun to be managed by Shields' staff. UMass Memorial Health and Shields have enjoyed a positive and longstanding relationship to deliver services at other UMass Memorial entities.
