Milford Regional Presents Free Community Program: Vaping & Your Teen

Milford Regional Medical Center is sponsoring a free community education program for parents and teens about electronic vaping products and associated health risks.

“Vaping & Your Teen: The New Face of Nicotine Addiction” will be held on Thursday, Oct. 10 at 7 p.m. at Valley Chapel, 14 Hunter Road, Uxbridge. The program is presented by the Central MA Tobacco Free Partnership and is free to the community.

The use of electronic cigarettes and vaping products is on the rise in Massachusetts, particularly among middle and high school students. While teens think this is a safer alternative to smoking, vaping products contain nicotine.

Join us for a discussion on deceitful advertising targeting kids and the long-term health impacts of e-cigarette use. You’ll learn about vaping, how to prevent your child from vaping and the substances beyond nicotine that can be used in these easily accessible devices.

To register for this important program, call (508) 422-2206.
