Meals and Refreshments
For patients, Milford Regional decided to put you in charge of when you eat rather than the clock. The Food and Nutrition Department’s program called At Your Request allows patients to order food anytime of the day between 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. This includes snacks as well as meals.
A dining menu can be found in every patient room. A simple phone call to the food and nutrition call center (ext. 2663) connects you to one of our operators who can pull up your dietary restrictions based upon the attending physician’s order and assist you in your menu selection. Some items may not be available on special diets. Guest trays are available for a fee payable in the cafeteria.
For visitors, the cafeteria offers full service for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Convenient food stations offer soup, salad, deli, grill, entrée, grab and go, frozen yogurt and hot/cold beverage service. The cafeteria is open Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on weekends and holidays from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. It is located on the ground level. Cash and credit cards are accepted. To find the cafeteria, take elevator A to the ground floor and turn right.
Water, beverages, snacks and ice cream are available any time of the day or night from our vending machines located adjacent to the cafeteria dining room (directions to cafeteria noted above) or at the entrance to the emergency department, (up the stairs) near the elevator.
