Teen Volunteer Program

Volunteering can provide an opportunity to learn and gain experience while providing assistance to others (and we hope it is fun as well!) The kindness and assistance of volunteers is greatly appreciated by patients and staff.

For the after school teen volunteer program, you need to be at least 14 years old and able to provide assistance 1 or 2 afternoons a week until 4:30 p.m. The volunteers perform duties such as:

  • Delivering information and equipment between departments to speed the flow of care
  • Bringing a hospitality cart with refreshments to patients and families in waiting rooms
  • Offering books and magazines to patients from the book cart
  • Providing clerical support for departments.
