The WMRC 1490 AM Radiothon held last year raised over $32,000, to benefit the Cancer Center at Milford Regional Medical Center.
Once again, WMRC radiothon will be held this year to support the highest priority needs at Milford Regional Medical Center. This highest priority could be helping a maternity or cardiac patient, purchasing emergency room equipment or a respirator or helping to hire an additional nurse so we can continue to serve the needs of the community. Milford Regional Medical Center continually strives to provide the best healthcare to our community. Your support of the WMRC Radiothon this year will benefit the areas that need your financial support the most.
To support Milford Regional, the WMRC-First Class Radiothon will broadcast live between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm from the Milford Regional Golf Classic at Franklin Country Club on Monday, August 25th. The Radiothon on WMRC 1490 AM will feature interviews with Milford Regional staff, patients and family members. Throughout the day, listeners will be encouraged to call in to make gifts and pledges to the highest priority needs of the hospital.
We would also like to involve the local business community in the Radiothon and are currently looking for sponsors. Available Radiothon sponsorships range from $275 to $5,000 and include a variety of opportunities for you to promote your business while supporting the Medical Center.
