Milford Regional’s 20th Annual Golf Classic
Milford Regional’s Annual Golf Classic was held Monday, August 31, 2009. Now in its 20th year, this summertime tournament raises both funds and awareness for Milford Regional Medical Center and the many services it provides to the community.

All proceeds from this year’s Golf Classic will support improvements to our Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy Programs.
In addition to a challenging round of golf at the Franklin Countrys Club, this year’s tournament featured an exciting new element: the Golf Classic Raffle. Each raffle ticket had a chance at the $5,000 grand prize, Boston Red Sox tickets, New England Patriots tickets, a Myrtle Beach, South Carolina vacation and many more exciting prizes! Once again this year, the WMRC Radiothon was held to support the Medical Center. This year the WMRC Radiothon supports the Oliva Patient Comfort Fund. This fund was established in 2007 in honor of the Oliva Family of Milford. Donations to this fund help support expenses related to the comfort and care of the patients treated at Milford Regional Medical Center or in the Cancer Center at Milford Regional as well as hospice care.
To support Milford Regional, the WMRC-First Class Radiothon broadcast live between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm from the Milford Regional Golf Classic at Franklin Country Club on Monday, August 31st.
