Annual Fund
A gift to the Annual Fund is the most popular way to be sure that your donation benefits the areas of greatest need at Milford Regional Healthcare Foundation. Gifts designated to the Annual Fund will be used for highest priority needs to support important patient programs and services including but not limited to: the Emergency Department, the Cancer Center, the Women’s Pavilion, Cardiac care, Adolescent health, Diabetes unit and VNA.
1903 Society
Milford Regional is very fortunate to have a group of people who make significant gifts every year to the Annual Fund which are used for highest priority needs at the medical center. The 1903 Society has been created to recognize these wonderful supporters who have made gifts over $1000!
Designated Gifts
You may choose to designate your gift to a particular hospital program. Gifts in this category area are unrestricted in their use within the area.
Tribute Gifts
Gifts to Honor
Make a gift in honor of a friend or loved one in celebration of a birthday, anniversary or special occasion. We will notify the honoree of your thoughtful gesture.
Gifts to Commemorate
Make a gift in memory of a deceased friend or loved one. When making your memorial donation, please inform us of the name of the deceased and the next of kin to be notified of your gift. For a memorial gift of $1000 or more you may request a plaque which would be hung in the chapel. (Someone from the Foundation Office will contact you to make arrangements.)
Maternity Memories Wall
This is a special way to remember your baby’s birth while benefitting the Maternity Center now and in the future. With your gift of $250, your baby will be remembered with a rocking horse plaque on the Maternity Memories Wall and make continuous enhancement and excellence in our Maternity Center possible.
Planning Your Gift
A planned gift provides a significant benefit to the hospital, and may also provide the donor with tax and income benefits during his or her lifetime. To discuss a Planning Giving option, please contact Martin Richman at 508-422-2236.
Cancer Center
Gifts to the Cancer Center may be directed to the Oliva Patient Comfort Care Fund or the Cancer Care Fund. While gifts to the Oliva Fund help support expenses related to the comfort and care of cancer patients being treated at the Medical Center or in the Cancer Center, the Cancer Care Fund supports all cancer related activities at the Medical Center and Cancer Center.
VNA
Gifts to the VNA of the Greater Milford-Northbridge Area will help provide home healthcare services throughout the greater Milford, Franklin and Blackstone Valley region. Services include medical and surgical nursing care, rehabilitative services, mental health nursing, social services and maternal/child care.
