Methods of Giving
The Medical Center's Development Office is responsible for raising funds to help meet the capital and program needs of the Medical Center. To meet these needs, the foundation works to secure the financial support of individuals, businesses and foundations.
There are a variety of ways that you can support Milford Regional and its ongoing needs, including:
Cash Contributions – Gifts made with cash, check or credit card can immediately go to work for Milford Regional. Please use our online donation form or our printable donation form for your generous contribution.
Memorial Opportunities – Milford Regional accepts gifts in memory or in honor of a loved one or family member. Please use our online donation form or our printable donation form for your memorial gift. Naming opportunities are available to establish a permanent tribute.
Pledge Payment - If you have an outstanding pledge to Milford Regional, you can make your scheduled payment by using our online form.
Matching Gifts – Many businesses and corporations will match their employees’ and retirees’ gifts to nonprofit institutions like Milford Regional. Corporate matching magnifies the impact of individual gifts. Please contact your employer’s Human Resources Department to find out if your gift can be matched.
Securities and Stocks – Donating appreciated securities, mutual fund shares and other types of properties to Milford Regional can provide donors with significant tax benefits.
Estates and Bequests – A gift made through your will may be the best way for you to make a sizeable gift to Milford Regional.
Real Estate – Donations of property can be accepted as tax-deductible contributions. There are restrictions on the types of property that Milford Regional can accept.
Life Insurance – Naming Milford Regional as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy can result in a significant gift to the medical center.
Gifts-in-Kind – Donating goods or services to Milford Regional can provide a tax-deductible contribution with no out-of-pocket expense.
