Breast Health Services – Surgery

Most women with breast cancer undergo some form of surgery, whether it is a tumor removal, lymph node examination, mastectomy, reconstructive surgery or a combination of procedures. Surgery for breast cancer has changed over time and now offers women far more choices. Breast conserving surgery like a lumpectomy, as well as reconstructive surgery using an implant or a women’s own tissue, are just some of the current surgical procedures offered. Whatever choice a woman and her surgeon make, she can be assured that the most up-to-date care is available at Milford Regional.

If surgery is part of your treatment plan, you can choose a physician who best suits your needs.
