Support Groups

This group is for women who would like to meet other women to explore ways to cope with their diagnosis, its effect on their lives and to offer an opportunity to support each other.  Refreshments will be served and there is no charge to attend, but registration is required.  For more information and to register, please call Ann Sullivan, LICSW at (508) 488-3783.

This free support group is for breastfeeding women and their babies to help women reach their breastfeeding goals. The group is also open to all pregnant and breastfeeding women regardless of where they deliver their babies. Topics include coping with myths, surviving the early weeks of breastfeeding, night feedings and combining breastfeeding and returning to work. The nurturing environment offers an opportunity for breastfeeding women to support and encourage each other, and provides the services of a Lactation Counselor or Consultant to answer questions. This supportive group is for those who have a loved one or friend with cancer. The program will provide practical information to support the caregiver as well as offer an opportunity to meet and gain support from others coping with similar issues. Do you live with chronic pain? Do you feel frustrated and alone, with no one to talk to who understands what living with chronic pain can be like? Is your pain interfering with other aspects of your life?

If you suffer from chronic pain, talking about it with others who are also dealing with the same issues can help. This peer-led support group is free and open to anyone looking for support through sharing of experience, information, coping skills and ideas.
